Hi everyone!
I finally got round to making an Alice in Wonderland theme card that I have been asked to make:
This card did not go to the original plan! (to say the least) I planned to do fun bright colours- but ended up going vintagy with browns and creams--Do not ask me how that happened!!
It was for a lady's 30th Birthday so I didn't want to make it too kiddish, but more elegant -- hopefully I succeeded!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hello!!
Today I thought I'd share a cute card I created...
I love this image!!
I decided to make a criss cross pocket card.. with an insert for the personal message.
I handmade the flowers using various techniques I've learnt from youtube videos..
I decided to do a card using Tim Holtz distress inks to create a watercolor effect background-
they are perfect for this technique!
I decided to watercolor the image too..
I like the background as it looks like clouds on a rainy day. I do love this technique, but its impossible to duplicate.. Every single background is different!
Hello!
I've never followed a card sketch before.. so I decided to give it a go!
I liked this sketch from Mojo Monday...but also liked the mood board over at Life Paper Scrapbook ... so I decided to combine the two.. and this is what I came up with:
I went with very different colours with my card today! I don't think I've EVER used purple and orange together before, but I don't mind it! I think this Tilda is so cute!
