Unstamped card

This week at 365 Cards I had to create a card using no stamps! Thought this would be difficult till I came across a few decoupage images that I got with a card making magazine.. So easy, yet so effective.
Love the cute image and it really pops because its layered.

"Two faced" background card

The challenge for 365 cards this week was to create a card using both sides of double sided patterned paper. Here is my take:
I used my new sentiment from Kaisercraft..Its so sweet. I wanted to design a card that would suit a male or female recipient. I had to add Wild Orchid Craft flowers- of course! Hope you like it!

Something Sweet

My challenge at 365 cards this week was to create a card intended to cheer someone up. Here is my take on the challenge:

Who wouldn't feel happy receiving this card? Tilda is so gorgeous... I especially love this image. I coloured her with copics. I thought the sentiment "you're the sweetest" really complimented the sweet picture.
Hope you like it.

Happy Birthday Tilda

Thought I would make a card today... Here it is

I coloured Tilda with my copics... I'm still learning how to blend with copics, I;m getting better I suppose! I distressed all the layers, with my new Stampin' Up distress tool. The flowers I made by layering prima flowers and adding bling. I wanted it look kinda messy/distressed, as its not my usual style.. I need to get away from trying to make everything neat and perfect.

Challenges Id like to enter:
Magnolia-licious- Anything Goes
Love Rubber Stamps- Anything Goes
Tilda's Town- Add a Technique
Cute Card Thursday- Anything Goes
Magnolia Down Under- "Distressing"

A few challenges

Hey Blogger/crafters!!
I was bored today so thought I'd use a few challenges to inspire my creativity...
I came across the Colour Q challenge... Which involved using these colours:
If I hadn't found this challenge I don't think I ever would have used this colour combo... But I quite like how it turned out. This is the card I created:
The photo doesn't really do it justice.. I used glossy accents on the balloons so they're all shiny.. I also stickled the saffron balloon. Hope you like it.

Another blog I came across on my travels was Daring Cardmakers.. they post daring colour combos for people to play along.. This was the dare...
I love these colours!! So I decided to completely go with the citrus theme...
The stamp is by Stephanie Banard at "Stamps of Life." I think it was the July 2013 stamp club set. Once again I glossy accented the splashes... so they look wet.

365 Cards- First DT challenge

I have recently become a design team member at 365 Cards! I am so excited..
This week I had to create a card with rounded corners, which was easy enough because I generally do this anyway..
I love square cards with rounded corners.. I just like the look.
I have also been creating my own paper flowers, so I put one of those on (the pink one). You can't really see but the butterfly's popped up... I love butterflies and girly things, can you tell?!
Until next time,
Letisha

A Recycled Card

I was inspired by the challenge #29 on A Blog Named Hero. It involved making a card with recycled/reused products that might have gone in the bin, if not on the card!

For the challenge I used old scraps of trim to make the flower and the back matt is made out of an old book page from a book I was just about to throw out! I love recycled items on cards. Its really important to recycle products, even when crafting!

The stamp I used is by FLONZ, its so cute.
Until next time,
Letisha
