Steampunk Tag
I have never attempted steampunk before, but thought I'd give it a go! I am in a swap and made this tag:
I don't know if it really qualifies as steampunk, but I am still quite happy with it... It was hard to find things in my stash to use, I don't own any steampunk images or gears, etc... Anyway, hope my partner like it.
Thanks for looking :)

TAG TUESDAY- "Proverbs"
Just whipped this tag together for TAG TUESDAY...This weeks challenge was proverbs... There were so many nice sayings to choose from, but decided on this one...
This proverb is so true!! I had no #8 shipping tags left, so I cut tags from manila folders...pretty much exactly the same...This works out alot cheaper too...at my local scrapbook store tags are $9 for 20...Manila folders are only a couple of dollars and make plenty :)...Gotta love a bargain!
Thanks for looking

My first domino book!
I made a domino book for a swap on "The Craft Hole" on Facebook... It was heaps of fun to make!
A added a loop at the top so it could also hang on the tree as a decoration... As it was my first one it was a little time consuming... But hopefully the next one won't take as long. I really like how it turned out...

BLOG HOP- Rock your Style!!!
Hello ALL!
365 Cards is hosting a blog hop this week! If you comment on all designers posts you have the chance to win fantastic prizes- Its as easy as that...
This is my "Clean and Simple" paper bag card that represents my style:
A decorated peg holds the bag card together....
I LOVE paper bag cards because there is no wasted space... Space for a tag/gift card and a greeting and small gift in the "bag part" of the card... I love using pinks, black and white together too.
I encourage everyone to have a go at creating a paper bag card, it is so simple and effective. There are plenty of Youtube videos out there that show you how its done. There are so many ways and different sizing, depending on the size bags you use. This is the tutorial video I followed:

Clean and simple card
Hey Blogland :)
This week at 365 Cards I had to do a "clean and simple card." This meant I could only add 3 items on the card apart from the sentiment.. I quickly put this card together:

Sometimes the more simple a card is, the more effective. Of course I had to add a flower as one of my three items...

I have been loving anything vintage lately, so this challenge was perfect for me. I would get really bored if I made 9 atcs exactly the same... So each one I make is unique.

365 Card Challenge
Hi All!!!
This week's challenge over at 365 Cards was to create a card with something soft to the touch, with textured trim along at least one edge.

This week's challenge over at 365 Cards was to create a card with something soft to the touch, with textured trim along at least one edge.
This is the card I created:
The flower trim is my "soft touch" and I added the white lace along the bottom.. I have to say, I got a little stuck on this challenge... I could not think of anything "soft" to put on my card! I realised after I probably could have used feathers :) Oh well, next time. I long the colour combination of red, white and black.
Hope you like it, feel free to leave some love xx

Unstamped card
This week at 365 Cards I had to create a card using no stamps! Thought this would be difficult till I came across a few decoupage images that I got with a card making magazine.. So easy, yet so effective.
Love the cute image and it really pops because its layered.

Something Sweet
My challenge at 365 cards this week was to create a card intended to cheer someone up. Here is my take on the challenge:
Who wouldn't feel happy receiving this card? Tilda is so gorgeous... I especially love this image. I coloured her with copics. I thought the sentiment "you're the sweetest" really complimented the sweet picture.
Hope you like it.

Happy Birthday Tilda
Thought I would make a card today... Here it is
I coloured Tilda with my copics... I'm still learning how to blend with copics, I;m getting better I suppose! I distressed all the layers, with my new Stampin' Up distress tool. The flowers I made by layering prima flowers and adding bling. I wanted it look kinda messy/distressed, as its not my usual style.. I need to get away from trying to make everything neat and perfect.
Challenges Id like to enter:
Magnolia-licious- Anything Goes
Love Rubber Stamps- Anything Goes
Tilda's Town- Add a Technique
Through the Craft Room Door- Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday- Anything Goes
Magnolia Down Under- "Distressing"

A few challenges
Hey Blogger/crafters!!
I was bored today so thought I'd use a few challenges to inspire my creativity...
I came across the Colour Q challenge... Which involved using these colours:

I came across the Colour Q challenge... Which involved using these colours:
If I hadn't found this challenge I don't think I ever would have used this colour combo... But I quite like how it turned out. This is the card I created:
The photo doesn't really do it justice.. I used glossy accents on the balloons so they're all shiny.. I also stickled the saffron balloon. Hope you like it.
Another blog I came across on my travels was Daring Cardmakers.. they post daring colour combos for people to play along.. This was the dare...
I love these colours!! So I decided to completely go with the citrus theme...
The stamp is by Stephanie Banard at "Stamps of Life." I think it was the July 2013 stamp club set. Once again I glossy accented the splashes... so they look wet.

365 Cards- First DT challenge
I have recently become a design team member at 365 Cards! I am so excited..
This week I had to create a card with rounded corners, which was easy enough because I generally do this anyway..
I love square cards with rounded corners.. I just like the look.
I have also been creating my own paper flowers, so I put one of those on (the pink one). You can't really see but the butterfly's popped up... I love butterflies and girly things, can you tell?!
Until next time,
Letisha

A Recycled Card
For the challenge I used old scraps of trim to make the flower and the back matt is made out of an old book page from a book I was just about to throw out! I love recycled items on cards. Its really important to recycle products, even when crafting!
The stamp I used is by FLONZ, its so cute.
Until next time,

My Craft Room Tour
I have only been crafting a lot in the last year... I have been so inspired by youtube videos of other crafter's sharing their craft spaces and organisational ideas. I decided to post a video of my own craft room today. I was not going to, but then I thought "Why not?!" Maybe I could inspire someone else..
It's not the best quality video- and I'm not that Tech savvy.. I have no ideas how to edit videos, so I just recorded on my iphone and hoped for the best lol.

It's been so long!
OMG!! I haven't posted on my blog for ages! Even though I do not have a job I've kept myself busy and got sidetracked :) Soo... this is my first post of 2013.. So happy late new year to anyone out there in cyber land!!
I want to get back into creating cards for online challenges and start posting a bit more. It's great just to explore other people's blogs and get new ideas and inspiration--It would be great if I could inspire other's the way they do me.
I've been crafting tons! + buying a lot of craft items/ supplies= I'm a little bit addicted to online shopping... (A lot actually..)
I've done a few mini albums- one for a friend and one for my little brother. I have also started making "star" mini albums... They are so much fun.
These star albums are awesome because when they are closed they just look like a normal mini album, but then as you open it...it folds out to a star.. Its good because it can be tied open and sit like this on your desk.
This is what it looks like as you open it.. 3 pretty layers of card stock and patterned paper.
This is another one I made with a butterfly on the front. I've put these both up for sale on etsy :)
This is one I made for myself and put photos and inspirational quotes in. These albums have 14 pages (4x4")= which is plenty of room for pics and journalling.
Making these is a little bit addictive....
